BAC Steals Limelight with Stunning Mono on New York Auto Show Debut

Briggs Automotive Company (BAC) is celebrating a hugely successful debut at the New York International Auto Show, becoming one of the stars of the event in front of a record-breaking number of visitors.

After signing a dealership agreement with elite franchise Manhattan Motorcars, BAC took centre stage on the dealership’s ever-popular exotics stand inside the Javits Convention Centre.

For the very first time in New York, the world’s only single-seater, road-legal supercar – the BAC Mono – displaying in a striking visible carbon, blue and gold scheme that truly captivated the hundreds of thousands of daily attendees.

The stunning Mono was in very good company on the Manhattan Motorcars stand as part of the line-up of the most desirable models at the show – with the new Koenigsegg Jesko on its right and the Lamborghini Huracan EVO to its left.

Also rubbing shoulders with the BAC Mono were the Rimac C_Two, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Bentley Continental GT.
BAC representatives were on hand in the Big Apple to discuss all things Mono with new fans and customers, as well as dozens of members of the American media.

The company hosted a full press conference introducing the car to the world on Day 2, while Co-Founder Neill Briggs also sat on NBC’s CEO Hypercar Summit panel with Halldora von Koenigsegg and Mate Rimac.

Neill Briggs, BAC Co-Founder and Director of Product Development, said: “As far as debuts go, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better one than BAC’s at the New York International Auto Show 2019. Not only was the car centre stage on Manhattan Motorcars’ amazing stand, but it was surrounded by fans every single day wanting to get pictures and find out more. Full credit to our amazing team back in Liverpool for putting such a stunning car together, and big thanks to Brian Miller and the whole Manhattan Motorcars team – this the start of big things for BAC in the USA.”

The New York International Auto Show runs from 18-28 April 2019 for members of the public.
